I never had imagined, digital reproduced music could be so emotionally involving as with this set-up. Over and over, I find myself listening to the full album; for me one of the most important things, as this is the sole purpose of our efforts : listening to the music. Due to Audirvana my analog system is not being used a lot these days.

I’m very happy now with Audirvana Plus playing real DSD with no problems and with the best SQ I never got from digital audio. The dynamics, dynamic contrast, soundstage, detail and musicality is unlimited. Is like to remove a lot of veils from the recorded music. It’s a completely new world…
A. is a joke since it is a converter from DSD to PCM.
B. is very buggy, and dammaged some of my DSD files, thanks God I have backups.
A lot of sh*t had been talking about DSD, in favor to PCM. As I always stated the problem is on DSD software and players.

With Audirvana Plus on Lion, I heard for the very first time on digital the kind of transient attack on guitar strings that I’ve heard on vinyl. This type of transient attack, like the immediacy in vocals I noted on this song, is IMO a very important component of reproducing a realistic sound, and it seems to be damned hard to get right on digital.
(…)As I told you, it is a sentimental song, and as it began to play with A-plus on Snow Leopard, I actually teared up a bit. Whatever it is – perhaps integer mode? – Audirvana Plus on Snow Leopard goes beyond a sense of accuracy to deliver a song’s emotional impact.

Your Audirvana Plus is very wonderful Mac player.
Sound stage is very wide and more transparent. Very noiseless and hi-resolutional.
I am very impressed.
It will be very easy for everyone to set audio item between Audirvana and Mac.
I would never use X Player.(So much bug)
